Q: What is the Ooggi platform about?

A: The Ooggi platform is focused on accelerating learning around IT technologies.
By focusing on real life end-to-end challenges in the areas of architectural design, development and system operations, the practitioner is forced to apply a wide range of skills that promote faster learning and provide practical experience.
Challenges are presented in a real life context with the relevant requirements/specification and you (the IT hero), design and build solutions that are then evaluated by the automated challenge test suite.

Q: What if I’m not sure how to tackle a challenge?

A: We highly recommend attending one of the challenge workshops.
The workshop session will allow you to:

  • Learn more about the technologies involved
  • Brainstorm and discuss with the advisor and other participants
  • Validate your ideas
  • Put together a solution draft
  • Get a challenge code for the solution submission

After the workshop session, you’ll be ready to submit your first solution draft.

Q: How do I get certified?

A: In order to receive a certification, one needs to collect the necessary amount of points in the relevant track.
Once you collect the necessary amount by solving challenges you’ll become certified as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Architect.
For example, in order to unlock the “Level 1 – Cloud Engineer” certification, one required 20 points.
